ERRANT MINDS (EM) is my personal brand/moniker; My real name is MAX JACOBY.
Errant Minds has grown to be an umbrella for all my projects, procrastinations and tinkering where I can show off my interests and talents.
The origin of ‘Errant Minds’ is rooted in being a massive nerd. In the lore of my favourite game, Dishonored, The Abby of the Everyman had Seven Strictures to live by. The seventh of which being: Restrict the Errant Mind.

The inspiration for Errant Minds also came from a talented maker and YouTuber called Sean Hodgins. He goes by the handle ‘Idle Hands’ on Instagram – which also happens to be one of the seven strictures in Dishonored. I was totally inspired by his talents and wanted to do the same – just different. I figured Errant Minds was a poetic deviation from the inspiration.
