Errant Minds, or EM, is my personal brand and moniker; My real name is Max Jacoby. Errant Minds has grown to be an umbrella for all my projects, procrastinations and tinkering, and is my own website where I can show off my interests and talents. 

The origin of Errant Minds is deeply rooted in being a massive nerd. I found a guy on YouTube called Sean Hodgins who went by the name ‘Idle Hands Dev’ on Instagram. An awesome guy, talented electronics engineer and maker.

‘Idle Hands’ is one of one of the tenets of a religious cult from one of my favourite games: Dishonored. In the lore, they had Seven Strictures to live by. The seventh of which being: Restrict the Errant Mind.
